Hi all--I haven't been around in a long while...but for good reason...I have been very busy helping Aimee(my daughter) get ready for Lyllie's Christening, including making her Christening gown. I just wanted to check in and say "hi"!! I have not fallen off the face of the earth!!!
here is a pic of what I have done on her gown so far. I have a long way to go yet, but it is working up quickly...and I am enjoying making it. It is a really fun project, and will be an heirloom keepsake for her in the years to come...
anyway--thanks for letting me share with all of my friends here...
I warned you all this was off topic!

Congratulations, Gramma! What a GORGOUS and SPECIAL Christening gown! Such a precious treasure to hand down to the next generation and generations thereafter!!!!

I have knitted and crocheted for years, but I have never taken on a Christening gown. I really know the hours that you have put into this, and it is a very "special" gown for a very "special" little girl. It is beautiful!!!!!
Please, keep us informed and show us the final photos of it, I am very anxious to see it...

Very lovely. Thank you for sharing!
(P.S. Since staying alive to enjoy our grandkids and other loved ones is a primary benefit of Cpap, your post is NOT off topic, but rather a very important topic!)

I'm a guy, getting to Grandpa age though, and I also think that the dress and baby are absolutely gorgeous!
