Comfort Lite 2 need help with a fix

Post by apneaicinisrael » Fri Apr 25, 2008 5:34 am

Hi Forum, Long Time No Chat!
I haven't been around in awhile, but am still pap-ing, of course and hope you are all well and well oxygenated!
I had switched back to my Breeze due to a broken piece of the CL2, and ended up staying with it for months until a bad usage (was traveling and forget something to string up the hose above my head) ended up in a sore on my nose. Forgot that that can happen! SO, now I am back to the CL2. But I need some help.
I re-did the "fix" on it (it is a new nose piece) with the fishing wire (I use jewelry/necklace string). But that stiff upper joint is bothering me. I forgot that it is so hard to turn over. Does my hose really go straight into the headpiece, or am I forgetting something. If so, remind me what I can do to make it nicer to flop around at night.
Thanks!
Wonderful to know that even after a long time of no glitches and no major needs for support, I can still come back and say hi and ask a question.
Happy Spring to all,
AII

Some of us have cut that stiff elbow off the mask. Here is the link to RestedGals instructions for removing that elbow;

Hope this helps

Thank you so much! That is just the old posting that I remembered - I'm going to give it a few more nights to re-adjust to the feeling of the CL2 headgear, and then I might just do it...
Thanks again

I did see one post along the way where the user mentioned that he was able to remove the elbow by just pulling it off instead of cutting. I cut mine and left enough material of the elbow (I think) inside of the end of the hose coming up from the mask to plug in properly to the short hose swivel that I use next in line.

Good luck with your "surgery".
