I need to medicate my face with the ointment Protopic at night, otherwise I wake up in the morning with my face burning up. Protopic is very slippery... I have tried creams (Elidel), but they don't work as well for me. So I have had to work around this problem and found that only nasal pillows effectively do the trick.

If your face is slippery... I'll bet you that the Chinups won't work well either... isn't the principle of them to "stick" to your face??

I've got it in my scalp, and a few other breakouts. Lately tea tree oil (and products made with it) see to work better for me than coal tar or any of the medicated creams or solutions that the derm would perscribe.

Hi all.
Just wanted to give you the other side.. I was switched to Bi Pap after a non successful CPAP trial due to my high pressure.. It is 16 and 8 on the Bi Pap.. I am very allergic to almost every darn seal on the masks out there.. If i do wear them I have terrible redness for 3 to 4 hours every morning, terribly embarassing, BUT the one mask that i am comfortable in is the F&P 406 Nasal.. i am not allergic to that foam.. I have tried the F&P full face under the chin with the same material and it just doesnt fit my face, wish it did.. Anyway
when they changed me to bipap, aflex, i noticed NO CHANGE in mouth breathing over cpap.. I wish it would have helped me.
I just got the respironice deluxe white chinstrap and am getting ready to put it on, so i am hoping this is a better night.. My numbers are great if I can keep my mouth shut

Finally getting "some" quality sleep, I am hopeful now :)

bipap's not going to fix mouth breathing... you have to fix that yourself. If you're allergic to all of that... try the sleepweaver.

I also have a reaction to all of the masks. I got a 'gasket' from Padacheek. It is a liner for the seal of the mask. I can now use the UMFF with no ill effects to the skin. It did raise my leak by a couple of points, but the leak is still acceptible for the mask.
