From the bumper sticker of someone needing CPAP:

I'm RETIRED
I was tired yesterday
I'm tired again today.

A lot left unsaid

Since the focus of this story was the shelter's donations of doggie treats, I presume much was left unsaid about this guy. Maybe he had conditions that make him not a candidate for cpap. Or maybe he has central sleep apnea and even with a machine breathing for him, his brain doesn't always kick back in and tell him to breath unless there's another stimulus. That's quite a dog, like the ones that can sense an impending seizure. I'm real impressed with that dog, but I'm glad my cpap takes care of it for me.

I have four dogs ... my wife is an animal fan ... and they sleep all around my bed. Prior to CPAP, when I'd wake up from OA episodes, I'd always have to step over sleeping dogs to get to the bathroom.

They're worthless.

I'd rather keep my M-Series and donate the dogs to a Vietnamese Restaurant.

I love going to sleep at night - hose at one end, beautiful blue-eyed white cat at the other (well, all over my legs), and cute little black one beside me. Who needs blankets?

I am with rwalther, my dog would sleep thru an earthquake, but not an intruder cuz thats happened before.

Having CPAP has actually made life much more pleasant living with the dog. He is a very large 150lb Neo mastiff and still growing...(like the the dog Fang in Harry Potter movies) they are well renowned for omitting highly noxious fumes from their backsides and mine is no different, even when he doesnt sleep in the bed room it wafts thru the house. Now with the mask I have fume protection!!! However there is one draw back, it does not drown out the sounds as he emits audibly most of the time, but he is my fur kid, wouldnt have it any other way............
