Good Service From My DME Provider

Hi Folks!

Just me again on my computer at work.I am still pretty new to all of this as this is I believe my 3rd or 4th post.I would like to say that I think all medical costs in general are way too expensive,however my DME here in the Tidewater area of Virginia has been exceptional. On the day my Rx came in from my sleep Doc they called me and set up an appointment at my choosing.Upon arriving I and my wife were greeted by a Technician named Kim who thoroughly explained all my equipment options.Kim demostrated my CPAP machine with humidifier,my Activa mask and how to set up,use,clean and store for travel,she also explained insurance guidelines and billing procedures.Iwas given 1 Mirage Activa mask at the sleep center to keep and another one by the DME provider.Kim told me not to open the 2nd mask till I was sure I would be able to get used to the first.I had some issues with the Activa so I went back to my DME and they readily exchanged it for a Puritan/Bennet Breeze nasal pillow mask,so now I alternate between the two, its easier on the nose.I didn't mean to sound like I was putting down my DME in my last post, It could not be farther from it.DME's are like all buissnesses there are good and bad onesl,mine is superb!! Kim has gone above and beyond to help me.Also they have people available on call 24/7.I just think that some of the costs seem a bit high.
