HERE'S THE DEAL...

Although, not a smoker myself...I am in possession of two masks...A Swift Nasal Pillow and Breeze Nasal Pillow, both are the original models...And both have been used by a smoker...

I attempted to trade the Breeze Mask on the Mask Roulette Thread on 1/31/08...I had used the Breeze for two nights and wanted to trade for a Swift...

The Swift Mask I received as a trade had been represented as being from a non-smoker...
However, this was not the case when I received it

When I received my Breeze back it also had been used by a smoker...As indicated, in total my Breeze mask has been used, I would estimate less then a week...I have copied and paste the
reply I got from the person who traded the Swift Mask to me...

"i have a full swift 1 setup i dont like if your interested used well tried to use for about a week"...

The Swift Mask I received is in very good shape, it has the pouch, cdrom and manual and all three sizes nasal pillows with it...I would have been happy with the trade and would have kept the Swift if it had not been used by a smoker...The Breeze Mask also has all three sizes of nasal pillows...Both masks are in nearly new condition..
These masks would be a good deal for a smoker..

I would like $80.00 for both masks and I'll pay the shipping...Any Questions, pm me...

I'm not interested in the mask, but to protect other members of this forum, I suggest "outing" any traders or sellers who intentionally misrepresent their masks or machines.

I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but it's just my $.02

Another option to consider would be getting some Controll III disinfectant for the used mask. That product sterilizes your equipment, so there won't be any residue or smoke odor. cpap.com sells the product, good to use occasionally just to get everything extra clean.

The fact of the matter is that after waiting nearly two weeks for the Trader to do the right thing and no reply to my follow up emails to him...

I made three identical posts to the Message Board...#1 in the section of Mask Roulette where I offered the mask for trade...#2 in the section of Mask Roulette where you follow up by reporting on the trade and how it worked out...#3 on the general Message Board...

All of these posts were titled "Mask Roulette...
My Experience"...Now here's the rub...For some reason the powers that be or someone removed/deleted all three of these posts...
Still trying to figure out why...I specifically tried to avoid "FLAMING" the trader...I simply stated the facts without using complete names so hopefully it would save someone else the time and aggravation I went through...
Notwithstanding, the expense envolved...
