Suggested Full Face Mask for Colds

Post by sleepyguy1 » Thu Mar 13, 2008 4:00 pm

I have read several posts where people say that they have a full face mask for the times when they have bad colds or allergies, and can not breathe through their noses. I have severe allergies, and this sounds like a good idea.

I was wondering which full face masks people recommend, that they have found work well.

Hello Sleepguy! I've tried quite a few, and the Resmed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask is still my favorite, my everynight mask.

I use the mirage quatro. I haven't tried any other ffm mask, because I really like this one!

I also use the ResMed Ultra Mirage II Full Face when I am stopped up. Works great!

The one that fits YOUR face the best ... and not neccessarily the one that fits everyone else.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Quattro

Post by BigGayBert » Thu Mar 13, 2008 9:50 pm

I would highly recommend trying the ResMed Quattro. It is really a very comfortable and well-made mask. I haven't tried the Ultra Mirage yet, but I'd like to. It is considered to be ResMed's "third generation" full-face mask, while the Quattro is the "fourth-generation" mask (hence the name).

A bunch of people here like the Respironics ComfortFull II, but I hated it. The seal is very hard and the mask is gigantic. It is very flimsy and seems like it would just fall apart within a few weeks of use (I toss and turn alot). The ResMed masks are extremely durable products (I've had my Activa for YEARS!). If the ComfortFull fits your face better, then great, but otherwise it is a truly inferior product, imho. I would try both the Quattro AND the Ultra Mirage (and the Hybrid or Liberty) before I'd bother with the ComfortFull.

I wish you the very best of luck! Please post again and let us know how it's going and what mask you picked!!!

Bert =)
