My coworkers are seriously wondering what's going on in my office right now.....
Hey, it was a muzzleloading gun show, if that makes a difference. Lotsa fat guys with beer bellies and dead animals on their heads. I ended up buying a set of aged antlers to make a cool gun rack to display the flinch-rock my Daddy is fixing up for me.
And bought Mark Baker's Book #1. Inadvertently bought Book #2 first a few years back. Just like me to do it bass-ackwards....
If you don't read "Muzzeloader" and don't instantly know the name, he's the guy who taught Mel Gibson to shoot for "The Patriot" - famous line "Aim Small, Miss Small" came from Mark - and Daniel Day Lewis to shoot for "Last of the Mohicans".

Oh yeah, and he played Davy Crockett in "Boone & Crockett: The Hunter Heroes" on History Channel. Don't all YOUR friends eventually turn up on a History Channel production? Mine do. Check out my buddy Ginger Jones dying in flaming glory in the Daniel Boone sequence in the first half of that film. She's the Indian shooting arrows with her feet in the doorway of the tavern at Manskers Station (which was filling in for Boonesborough in the movie).
I personally think everyone ought to contemplate muzzleloading as a hobby at least once in their life. Then spend a whole bunch of money at the gun show buying gear you don't need, then turn around and offload it on Ebay for a great price to vultures like me...
