I'm just writing to see what people here know about Snoring.
My snoring has gotten pretty bad acutually. I've read about nose clips and breathe right stripes and about it on webmd and stuff.
I NEED HELP. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY NEW SOLUTIONS!!!!
I read I should really acutally loose weight and stop smoking first. Frankly that sounds too tough. I'd rather have my snoring fixed for the short term and the long term. Sure I'd like to lose weight. I'd also like to stop smoking NOW!.
It's like I have to make lifestyle changes and I embrace products to help my stop snoring.
ANY HELP!?!?!?!
Thanks

Well it is a free country still ... I think?
You can embrace a new lifestyle that improves your health and quality of life ... or you can embrace your current deathstyle and surprise yourself with a premature trip to the morgue and try to keep up with your health issues before the trip.
The best help any of us can give you is to encourage you to research why smoking, being over weight, and sleep apnea related snoring is not a good way to live your life.
Good luck!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Re: Snoring Problem
Sounds like you're NOT a CPAP user. Go get a sleep study done. Chances are that Sleep Apnea CAUSED your weight gain and whatever other conditions you may have or will have......high blood pressure and diabetes to name a couple.SnoreMaster4444 wrote:I'm just writing to see what people here know about Snoring.

There is another method that you can try,
a) Sleep Posture Correction
Do you sleep on your back? If so, you are probably worsen the snoring problem as your tongue will slip back into the throat and cause the blockage of airway. Simply by making yourself sleep on your side can stop the snoring. How to work with sleeping on back, simply sew a socket on your pajamas and stick a tennis ball in it during bedtime. Easy and simple, Right!! Or you can try various kinds of pillows and strap-on devices to help you unsupine.
b) Elevate your head
Pillow can block the airway by bending the neck, try without using a pillow. Or try various kinds of specially-designed pillow for snorers.

You sound more like me. While I have mild apnea, my tiredness was mostly caused by my snoring waking me up before I get further than stage 2 sleep.
It is possible that a little extra weight is hurting me but I snored when I was not really overweight. I don't smoke either.
Cpap has done amazing things. It stopps my snoring and I don't wake up. I no longer get up 3 times a night for the bathroom, that I really didn't need but was conditioned to do since I was awake.
Consider trying it even if a study says your apnea is minimal. You might be surprised.
Snore strip? Not for me as my snoring comes from the throat not the nose.

Or! He could be tested and treated for sleep apnea, and by-pass your suggestions for something that will work. But only if he decides to get treatment and make it work. JimAloha wrote:There is another method that you can try,

Easy fix no, their aren't any, but there are fixes that work.
