Create a document on your computer. Make a note of every time that you speak with Apria. Date, time, name, what you asked for, what they said. Complain to your insurance company in writing every time Apria fails to meet your needs. This the only way it will ever get better.
I just have to vent, thanks for listening....a bad night

Joyce yeah that's what I've heard about the DMEs loaning it out. Not sure if you need a Dr. request or not. But I'd definitely try it. I know Kaiser's in house DME does loan them with a Dr. request.
I noticed months ago that I breathed completely differently between when I put on my mask and when I start to fall asleep. It's such a difference that sometimes it kind of scares me back awake. It's such a shallow breathing almost like I'm barely breathing at all.

hoping better nights ahead for you
Hi Joyce,
I hope that there are much better nights ahead for you. I wanted to actually thank you for posting this, it makes me (and maybe others too) feel like we are not alone in having bad nights sometimes. Sorry to hear that the day went the way it did, but I am guessing that your hubby understands. I know mine is really trying to get used to the whole cpap thing and he is reading all he can to try to be supportive. Its hard, no ifs about that. Best wishes for good nights from now on!!!!
