Encore Pro & PC Card Reader

I have been using a USB reader for a while now, but want something easier to travel with.

Anybody use a PC Card based Smart Card reader with Encore Pro? The new 1.8 version allows selection of one in the "Preferences/System Settings" menu. It certainly didn't work the built-in SC reader in my Dell Laptop.

I looked at the two-factor.com web site and they also sell a PCMCIA (oh, so old school) reader, model LT-4000. I am cautious though because they don't post a separate driver for Encore Pro like their USB-based model.

I e-mailed two-factor asking about compatibility and they replied "We are not sure..... I suggest you to use DT3500 as it is more stable"

If Encore Pro doesn't support two-factor's PC Card, which does it support?
