All right! Welcome to the Activa Divison of the Hosehead club!

If fit isn't an issue, I can almost assure you that you will thoroughly enjoy this mask!

Removing the forehead support wouldn't help my activa fit better because that isn't what is making my mask to long. The cushion and cushion clip are the part that is to long for me. In fact the way I adjust it sometimes the forehead cushion barely touches me. If I raise the cushion where it should be under my nose the upper portion of the cushion is to high and wide and allows leakage into my eyes. If I lower it to control that leak then the cushion sits on my lips. I just need the entire nose area of the mask downsized one size. In any case at this time I will live with it on my lips and pray for the ACTIVA gang to read our posts and answer my prayers.

... as I wil as well! I'd use the Activa exclusively and not bother withother masks if they would make it in a small! I also agree that the forehead piece, or the lack thereof, really wouldn't affect fit, but would make it easier to use the mask perhaps.

I see you've got the Vista also. If I knew that it would seal as well as the Activa, I would get it the next time my ins. will buy me a new mask. is there anyone else who has used both? How do they compare?

Last night was my first night using the Activa. I do not like the fit as the forehead piece is up to the top of my head and the whole seal seems so large (I have the standard size and usually take a medium in masks). The outer rim of the seal actually sits lower than my lips. The seal wasn't bad but not as good as the Vista.

Between the two mask I prefer the VISTA as it is lighter and not as big.

But unless you have a wide nose I think you are better off with the standard. Now if we could get someone to listen and make it smaller they would give thumbs up rave reviews!
I have the Shallow and Standard cushions. I ordered the Standard thinking I had the wrong size. The Shallow has a much smaller cut out for the nose than the Standard. The Shallow is designed for smaller noses and nose bridges. The Standard was far too big. The Shallow fits perfect with no leaks.

Another Activa user here, I just bought the Shallow interface after using the Standard for about 3 months. Not sure which I like better. The Standard is definitely too big and sits far too low on my upper lip and the Shallow fits beautifully. But I think the Shallow might leak just a little more. With all the extra material in the seal of the Standard it seals extremely well, even if it is a bit big. I will work between the 2 sizes and make sure I am using the one that gives the best trtment.

And I do the same thing jsmythe does and I don't worry if the forehead piece is on my forehead. I just kind of sits up there at or above my hairline, and doesn't seem to matter.
