Clever Cat

Post by momadams » Mon Jan 28, 2008 9:43 pm

My son's cat likes to be let out in the wee hours of the morning.
He's discovered that he can wake up his human by clawing the carpet or knocking books over.
And by sitting on the CPAP "off" button!
Son likened the effect to having one's brain sucked out through one's nose by an octopus.

This morning, he took off his mask and put it on top of the machine, still running, then pretended to be asleep.
Cat jumped up on the machine and got an unwelcome blast of air in his furry little face.
He'll have to look for a new trick...

Shari

And my kids ask me why the only pets we have (at least at the moment) are a pair of fancy rats in my son's room (in a cage) . . . .
Try the Scented CPAP Mask with Pur-Sleep's CPAP Aromatherapy--CPAP Diffuser and Essential Oils.

I have one who has figured out that if she headbutts my mask hard enough, it will dislodge it from my face enough to wake me up. Then she sticks her head under my hand just so I can give her scritches. I thought the exhaust would keep her away, but apparently she likes it. I've been trying out a new Headrest/Aura/whatever mask. I've found her sitting above my head once or twice since. She is a strange cat.
