Mouthguard with a Baby Soother style outer flap

Post by rhowald » Mon Jan 28, 2008 9:45 pm

Hey all,

I seem to remember reading about a mouthguard that someone got a hold of that had a piece that goes on the outside of the mouth to rest up against the lips and provide a bit of a seal. Between the tongue control of the mouthguard and the outer piece it worked really well for them.

Does anyone remember this? I tried a forum search and didn't have much success. I was trying to find out if it was homegrown or a product they ordered from somewhere.

Thanks Folks

EDIT: Sorry, shoudl have added that this was used to seal the mouth. The person still used a nasal mask. It wasn't a stand alone device without xPAP.
