I recently became nicknamed Sleeping Vader by my 7 yr old son because of the sound of my CPAP machine. I'm getting CPAPs through http://www.bestcpapprice.com, and their great and inexpensive, but I'm hoping you all can tell me which CPAPs are the quietest, as my wife is a relatively light sleeper, I'm also having trouble finding a machine that doesn't irritate my eyes, I could barely open them two days ago. Or if anyone knows where I could find a good list of good machines that would be great. I tired looking through here but I couldn't find anything specific, and I want to take some specific suggestions to my doctor. Thanks everyone.

John,
You have a couple of different questions here.
As to noise level, both the CPAP machine and mask make some noise. If you would update your preferences to show the machine and mask you use, that would help so we can gauge the current level of noise you and your wife are hearing.
At to irritiating your eyes, unless the mask is making contact with your peepers then you most likely are getting air leaks and that are drying them out. This is a mask rather then a CPAP machine issue.
Get the mask adjusted so it does not leak onto you eyes. Perhaps a different mask altoghter is required if you have already struggled with adjusting this one. In fact, a mask change alone could solve both noise and dry eye problems.
So if you would update the machine and mask data we can get the dicsussion going.
