Anybody have any feedback or experience with the CPAP PRO "NO MASK" Product. Looks like nasal pillows and a mouth piece with no straps or headgear what so ever. I would like to hear anybody's comments about this product. As those of you who have read my previous postings, I am fairly new at this (3 months) and am really haveing a hard time settling in to whole experience. My biggest obstacle is mask comfort, so I was wondering if someone out there had some knowledge of this product. I trust any of you over the website sales pitch.

(see it at http://www.nomask.com)

Thanks

Hi Elfman!

Welcome to the wonderful world of the hoseheads! I have been a CPAP user for about six years now! And I have a love hate relationship with my CPAP and my mask. I think we all look for the ultimate mask and we keep looking. I got drawn in to the CPAP Pro "no mask" Product because that really drew my attention, not having any headgear straps or anything touching my face. There are some drawbacks. The Price $179, and once you open it, you can not return it. It can be a bit of a pain to fit. Personally I did not like having it in my mouth at night. I could not close my mouth all the way at night and because you now have something foreign in there, you drool more, so that was not pleasant. And if my nose got stuffy at all... it became painful, maybe the exhalation holes are not big enough? Anyway... from my experience...I did not like it. I have it in a box only having used it a few times. It must work for some people because they still sell it and people still buy it, but for me I would not recommend it.
Anyway, that is my two cents for what its worth. Hope that it helps and let me know if you have any questions.
