I wanted to see if this idea would help my side-sleeping, so rolled up a puffy comforter longwise, put velcro wraps around it in a couple of spots, and slept with it last night. One end was under my head, and the other end between knees.
VERY comfortable.
I've just saved a bunch of $ and have gained a machine-washable body pillow (so no need to mess with trying to fit an odd shape into a pillow case).

I showed the pillow to my wife yesterday, and she had one by 7:00 last night.
