Do you have a reliable CPAP with Humidifer for sale?

Post by John_M » Thu Jan 10, 2008 1:14 am

On New Year's Eve I went and visited a lady-friend of mine in another town 50 miles away. I whined and moaned and told her that I wished I had a backup CPAP+humidifer for when my main machine broke. It will do this eventually as I have learned that everything chnages.

I also said I would keep it in the trunk of my car so that when I travlled I could always chose at the last moment to spend the night away from home. Her eyes immediately brightened and she whipped $50 out of her purse and said she would like to help me buy a backup CPAP.

Tonight we went out for my 70th birthday party and she asked me if I had done anything about the backup CPAP. I said I hadn't I have decided to start looking for a CPAP+humifier combinaion that I can afford . I already have a $50 down payment.

So I am wondering if you have a used CPAP+humidifier which still works for sale? It can be old and heavy, all I ask is that it is releiable

Please pm me if you have such a machine that you don't need anymore.

I would love to have a backup machine and I think my friend would like me to have one in the truck of my car.

Thanks

John

Try looking for used machines on http://www.cpapauction.com - good deals sometimes. Best of luck with your lady friend.

There is a RemStar auto with accessories for $200 on craigslist in my area. You may want to check there as well.

Go to craigslist.com and find your state and what city you prefer. You can try different areas as well as I had good luck with my Fisher and Paykel heated humidifiers that I purchased off from craigslist. I live in Missouri and purchased them from California. Deal went great for me.

There was someone looking to sell a BiPap, which could be set to CPAP and it was older with no data stuff and lots of hours. Would work for a backup cpap.
