I agree this forum has been a real lift and just a conucopia of practical advice for me.

Most recent challenge - something others have posted about elsewhere - sudden powerful allergy-like symptoms that left me weepy eyed, sneezing and with a running nose that wouldn't stop dripping. I was going nuts trying to figure out what might be blooming, or is it dust mites, or houseplants, etc.,.

What I now suspect is my heated humidifier was set too low for this time of year, I dried out my upper sinus, and I then became uber-sensitive to any allergen or dust.

A trip to the fabric store for some funky cammo-pattern polar fleece (just in case I need my cpap in combat) to make a simple long tube bag for my hose, a rudimentary job on the sewing machine, humidity up, rainout down, voila, problem solved for a few dollars. Thank you forum posts and search function.

Lots of adjustment still required but there really is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Stick with it sososleepy. I believe you will find improvement if you can weather the tough start. Wouldn't it be oh so sweet to have that first night when you sleep for eight hours or so and wake up feeling just perfectly rested and full of energy. That's what I'm waiting for.

Best wishes all.
