My mask is moving my teeth

Post by jum001 » Sun Dec 30, 2007 11:26 am

The pressure of my mask against my cheek is pushing a tooth forward(toward the front of my mouth) and all the others are moving forward also. Now one tooth has moved under a front tooth and is pushing it out of alignment with the gum. I will consult a dentist about it. I suppose a dental appliance can realign the front tooth or at least prevent futher movement. Dental insurance covers up to $1000. Anyone geta feeling there will be a new deduct on my 2008 taxes? Anyone else have this happen to them? What was your solution?

Have you ordered your new mask yet, and will it be nasal pillows?

Is it possible that when change mask types and take the pressure off of your face that your teeth could correct themselves?

Yep, thinking you need to consider a different mask style, then. Your mask must be really tight!
