Lumps on head
I have been wearing a chin strap with my Swift II, for several months, and am beginning to develop a lump on the back of my head. The location of the lump is at the site where the rear head strap is velcroed together. I have not adjusted this head piece since I got it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I haven't had that problem, but I bet if you PM Padacheek she'll be able to come up with a pad for it that might help!

I've been getting them from my headgear - pantyhose tights! It's when I tie a knot in the pantyhose. It has made some sore lumps. (What's that about not getting your panty[hose tights] in a knot?)
I saw that RG had posted a site that showed how to tie a flat knot. But honestly, I just couldn't figure it out. It didn't bother me when I was exclusively side sleeping, but I wanted to give my neck a rest and so have been sleeping without my backpack, which means I end up on my back some of the time.
Maybe Padacheek could make some pantyhose headgear with nice flat knots, .Seriously, I've thought about asking her if she thinks there is a way to make the Tiara Topaz Chinstrap so it doesn't mark my cheeks up. So, I think getting a pad for the back of your head would make sense.

Thanks for making me not feel alone. When I first wanted to use a tights leg for a strap, I looked at the diagram that RG posted a link to.

I could see how it was done, but could not seem to make it happen behind my head where I could not see what I was doing.
Finally figured it out. Now, I do a simplified version. I have the two ends of the strap in each hand behind my head. Then I think of the old square knot saying, "Right over left..." I run the end of the strap in my right hand over the left strap then under the left strap and pull it tight. I think for RG's double knot you go over and under one or two more times, but I found that not to be necessary. One over and under holds well for me. If I wake up during the night (I should say WHEN I wake up), I may give the ends a little tug to re-tighten.

I want to thank all of you for responding to my problem. I see that I am not alone and am going to try a work around. It does seem to be the hazards of the game.
