Repironic EncoreViewer HELP

Post by Reborndreamer » Thu Dec 20, 2007 6:27 pm

Hello

I have been using my M machine since October 24 and I was checking and comparing (EncoreViewver) my new daily data with previous gathered data to see compliance and progress. But BANG!, today all of the daily data from day one to November 12 are gone.

If I request a report from November 12 to the 19 no problem the daily data are ok.

What is the problem here card memory limit, bad software, bad card reader, and no it is not the operator . Remember everything was fine yesterday and the day before and the…

Thank/Merci

Michel (the newbie)

Hello Michel,

You just got bitten by the M-series bug! This has happened to many of us. It appears that it is likely a problem in the M-series "firmware", not the Smartcard or software. Every now and then one or two days will not show up. Some of us have tried various things and none seem to work for the long term. IMHO, you're best bet is probably to avoid obsessing about it (like I used to) and just shrug your shoulders and remember that the data will come back.

Oops - I'm not reading very thoroughly today

In this particular case, it's more likely that there was no more room on the card. The compliance data is probably there but not the details. When I use my machine in APAP mode, the Smartcard only holds about 7 days of data. It would be more in CPAP mode.

Mindy

Thank you for your quick answer. I am using my M Aflex in auto mode. So I may have reached the card capacity. It would have been nice if the she software would give some kind of warning before erasing anything. Such warning would permit either to print the report, install new card, or at least save the report in a PDF file. I guest my expectations are too high for a such a basic software only paid... $139.95 .

And the old full version sold for $99, I'm glad the programmer got the raise. Jim

I usually can find the best value by myself, and or with the help of friends. As a mechanic for years, I never took advantage of anyone. I expect the same from others, but we all know we have to watch out for others, as some companies and people don't play by the same rules. Jim

Taking a product, Encore Pro, and cutting it functionality down to 2/3 of what it was, then charging 1/3 more for the stripped product.

Even a "Guest" or "Anonymous" person should be able to see when people are being taked advantage of, unless they have a part in the taking advantage, that might be why they prefer to stay hidden. Jim

They got to make more because only the people on this board will buy it because they are the only ones who want to learn enough and be pro active with their treatment.
