Comfort Sleeve-Kathleen-Has anybody talked to her since Sept

Post by debst99 » Fri Dec 14, 2007 7:11 am

I posted a note earlier about waiting for a hose cover from Kathleen at Comfortsleeve. A few of you said that you were happy with your order and give her a chance. I have emailed her over and over again and no response. I have waited three months for my order now.

Does anybody know if she is still operating the business or why she is not responding to my emails?

I have tried to give a small business a chance by placing the order (I am a small business working out of my home also). Now I am wondering if I should have ordered from our host's company.

Thanks for any input.

Debbie

Debbie, not wanting to spread bad news, but we have lost a couple of forum members here this year. They just dissappear and you get no response to emails. It's possible that she has suffered a medical problem, and is no longer able to provide response to emails. Very often, family members do not know how to deal with computer issues, and don't think it's a priority. It's the rare spouse that goes out on chat lists and can announce a death or serious disability.

Please be aware that we are all PATIENTS and often suffering from multiple medical problems. And we are also subject to being run over by a car at any time.

You should probably search elsewhere, if you are getting no response after three months.

Good luck!
Barbara

Kathleen's last post was just before Thanksgiving. I think I remember several months ago her saying that her presence here would not be as involved. Tried to look for the post but couldn't find it. I do know her husband has health problems, though I don't know if that has anything to do with her absence now. My guess is she will stop thru soon and get in touch.

Kathy

P.S. You might try a PM instead of an email. She was getting those in October.

Heard from Kathleen

Post by kteague » Sat Dec 15, 2007 10:07 am

Just heard back from Kathleen. Life is very difficult for her right now, between her husband's health and her own, and it's all overwhelming. She sends her regards to her friends here, and wishes she were able to participate here, but it's just more than she can handle right now.

Kathy

P.S. I've PM'd a couple of you about your posts regarding orders.

Hello, my friends...
I failed to get the tag of the entry I just made to another thread, so here is the content that I copied prior submitting...but FIRST, THANK YOU for your insight and support. I'm sorry I haven't returned here sooner.

Hi, All -

I don't know if anyone is watching this post anymore, but...
I THANK YOU for your concern - it is very much appreciated.

Due to various problems, I stopped production of the ComfortSleeve, which I regret was necessary.

The Web Site was NOT controlled by me, and is now 'not available'. I will be creating a new one myself, but the naming standard will be 'unconventional'. When completed, will post it on the Forum.

My source for GOOD fleece is no longer readily available, so will need to do a wider search, and also plan on limiting the colors available. I had too much inventory, and made the ComfortSleeves as the orders came in. I've learned to do things in a more efficient manner since my 'breakdown'.

I will need to limit the colors to the best-sellers, make a batch of each ahead of time so that they are available for immediate shipment. Good for you, and my daily demands will not have to change. I hope this suits everyone.
I'm planning on these colors: Chammois, purple, Navy, Burgundy, Forest Green,, and 'undetermined'. Suggestions are WELCOMED!

The readily-available size will be 6'; others will need to be 'special orders'.
I think the result will be better time management for me, and better service for YOU.

Checks or PayPal payments will be accepted - WHEN the product is ready to ship.

I do believe that the ComfortSleeve is superior to others in many ways, and appreciate the good words by many of you.

I'm planning on October-November, and will advise of details here, policy of CPAPTALK permitting.
Prices will remain the same.
Please post suggested color, and feel free to email me (preferred) , or PM.

Thanks again for ALL of your support. True friends are found HERE.
