Spam & the Lottery

The amount of spam I have been receiving went to zero. The image thing did work well. Until today when I received my lottery winnings notice pasted below. This is the ONLY spam I received in the past few weeks. FWIW- I suspect there is a troll among us.

People please do NOT fall for this stuff.

People, for those of you still in a fog, this IS sarcasm at it's finest.

It IS a joke but the new folks seem to think there is someone who wants to give them money.

There is ALWAYS someone who thinks this is legit - that is the only reason it persist because someone WILL think it is real.

CPAP will NOT help this thinking (or lack of).

Hey Gumby... we won 2 millions dollars, but it is in a bank in Nigeria (or was it the belgian congo, or was it in the caymans) and they say for a small processing fee we can claim to be the next of kin needed to transfer it to this country.

(Again folks... these are scams please don't fall for them)....

I get caught once in a while myself, but I'm a frequent flyer at snopes.....

These scams have been around for so long I can't believe people still fish in for them, but they do -- my mother in laws sister (age 92) just got bilked for $30K by some scumbag, and she's on the "soft touch" list, so it just keeps on coming (and it's not online - it's through snail mail and telephone solicitation, so you have to be careful no matter the medium)....
