Finally had it happen!!

Post by MRH » Sun Nov 25, 2007 8:42 am

Last night I finally broke below the magic 5 AHI number I didn't by much, a 4.5 but this is the first time, and my lowest yet. My leak numbers didn't look any better then they usually do either. So I am sure I can get better yet, if I can get a better leak rate. I have been running right around 6 ahi for the last several days, which has been very good for me. I really don't know for sure what changed things, I did hook up the hose to the headboard, and I think getting the auto also has helped. The biggest help is all the info from this site though! Lots of very helpful and informative people!!! Newbies don't give up! With time and the folks here you will get there!! Now for me to see if I can keep it below 5 will be the trick

Thanks very much everybody who have gave me advise, I am sure I will need more yet,

Mark

Congratulations on your new Low.

Doesn't it just feel great when you know that your settings and mask are all dialed in for you and you are making a real difference in your sleep? The newbies out there will be inspired by your perserverance and patience to get it to this point.

All those tweaks we do to accomplish the simple act of sleeping well. We all will never take sleeping well for granted again most likely.
So I will join you in being Thankful for a restful night's sleep and a great new day.
Congratulations

Karen

That's great, Mark!

I agree that it's all those little things and the support from this forum that make such a difference. Congratulations!

Congratulations. I agree about the help on this forum. It's invaluable. You've got the right attitude and that's really one of the most important things about the cpap experience as well as the positive feedback you get here.

Well done!
