I love the Activa....I get good seals, it's very comfortable, no pressure soreness, and sleep the whole night through without taking it off.

The term "Gold Standard" seems to be used a lot by the cpap professionals to describe their preferred method of treatment. If there is one piece of equipment that deserves that name it's the ResMed Mirage Activa... definitely the "Gold Standard" of cpap interfaces.

Glad to hear it worked well for you.

Sincerely,

Did you get the instructions on CD that come with the mask. Follow them> Remember, don't tighten the straps. They should hang loose when the cpap is off.

Chrisp,

No I didn't get any CD but was instructed well by my DME and understand the strap thing...This thing seals so nice even without any tightening of the straps...and the higher my pressure goes during the night the better the seal.

You can find the movie on Resmed's site as well.

Yes - Gold Standard it is! I have been on the hose for about 3 months now and started out from the get go with the Activa. I have searched for something else that may be better out there - including the Breeze, CC, Aura, and the Swift - and nothing had worked even remotely better for me (or even the same I sould say). SO, I am sticking to the good old original!
