CPAP pressures

Post by LilBuckaroo » Wed Nov 07, 2007 10:30 am

As we know, CPAP pressures are stated in "cm". I know what cm means, but how does that translate in water pressure? I have been "behind a mask" for nearly 3 years and still don't understand that term.

http://www.sensorsone.co.uk/pressure-un ... rsion.html

8 cm H20 at 4deg C
= 0.114 psi
= 0.008 bar

A standard scuba diving air tank has about 200 or 300 bar when it's full.

Does that help??
