New Quatro FF
I got my new Quatro FF Mask a couple days ago. I briefly scaned thru the manual, put the mask on, tightened the straps, dialed in the nose pressure, and promptly went to sleep. I woke up seven hours later and had to feel of my face to see if the mask was still there. That is the best "out of the box" mask I have used yet. Also my no.s were the lowest I've ever had with a AI of 0 and HI of 4.5. Leak rate was very good at a steady 38. I think the chart showed a 37 as standard. My APAP pressure is 9 to 12 Gonna keep this one.
GREAT! And congratulations! Wish me luck!!!! I've got one on order.

I've been using my Quattro FF for a couple of weeks, my favorite FF so far, too!

This sounds wonderful. The following is the only link I found for a Quatro FF Mask:

This may be a dumb question, but is there a selection of different Quatro FF Masks?

You're shopping in the wrong place.Easygoing wrote:This sounds wonderful. The following is the only link I found for a Quatro FF Mask:

CPAP.COM has much better pricing and they sponsor this forum.

Yep, $175 from CPAP.com, $209 from that other place (though they do offer a "free" hose, but that's not worth the $35 difference).Easygoing wrote:This sounds wonderful. The following is the only link I found for a Quatro FF Mask:

The only option is the size.

I love my Quattro. I did get a padacheek that has a nose cover on it because I had nose eating issues. After I that was solved, it feels like I do not have anything on my face. It does have its own strap system.

Singing makes me feel better. Its because of all that oxygenation.

Straps
I'm only aware of the headgear straps that come with the mask. But, I do use the Pad-A-Cheek strap covers--makes the mask SO much more comfortable, and took care of the those red strap marks that I used to have on my face in the morning. CPAP.com has those, too.Easygoing wrote:Thanks a bunch.
Just one more question:
Is there a certain head straps that works well with the Quattro FF or does this FF mask only have one option for head straps.

My Quattro headgear is marked for use with the Ultra Mirage Full Face or the Quattro. However, the Quattro only uses two "clips" on the lower straps and the top loops insert into slots on the upper part whereas the UMFF uses four clips.

Perfect mask won't cause teeth to feel loose
I have bone loss in my jaw due to osteoporosis. All the CPAP masks that have been prescribed press on my teeth, causing them to all feel loose and wake up with headaches that I have to take the mask off during the night. I also have a deviated septum and unable to use a mask with nasal pillows because the pillows rub on the inside of my nose, causing the inside to become sore and raw. Been feeling so frustrated trying different masks these past couple years and nothing working for me. When I found this link, with other people who also have teeth problems from the CPAP masks, I didn't feel alone anymore.
I wanted to share with you what I think is the perfect CPAP mask. It is called DREAMWEAR MASK by Respironics (Philips)
I like that the nose piece does not rest on the upper teeth. I like that the interior of the nose piece does not have nasal pillows. I like that the tubing goes over the head, and therefore, does not weigh the mask down on the teeth like other masks do. I just wanted to share in hopes of helping someone else out there who has been suffering like I have. I couldn't sleep with the CPAP and I couldn't sleep without it. Now I am looking forward to many good nights sleep, pain free with the DreamWear Mask. Hope this helps.

Re: New Quatro FF
You probably had an incorrect size and/or an incorrect adjustment. Pillows should not rub the inside of the nose.cynth129 wrote:the pillows rub on the inside of my nose, causing the inside to become sore and raw
Re: New Quatro FF
I think I mentioned that I have a deviated septum, which is why it rubs on the inside of the nose.
