Post by neverbetter » Thu Oct 25, 2007 12:00 pm

no, no not the s8's....

the resmed Headquarters.
isn't it in Poway California that was evacuated?

Hey, Resmed ! You OK ?

I seriously hope everyone in California gets through this OK. I know thousands have already lost their homes. We seriously need some global cooling and fast!

Shutting off the "hot air" coming out of Washington would help.

Wouldn't go over very well in India.
(or out here in cattle country)

And, then there's the meat packing companies that contribute to political parties.
Somebody will figure out how to contain all of that methane gas so it can be used for something "good".
They're actually extracting "coal-bed methane" gas out here in this part of the country......and sending it somewhere.....

I phoned ResMed yesterday to ask a question. The recording said their switchboard was closed due to the fire and that CSR’s were picking up messages and returning calls when possible.

Yes, they are in Poway.

And, they've even got their own website:

http://www.beefitswhatsfordinner.com/

I'm not a fan of other "additives", either. Just basic salt & pepper.

Now, it's gonna be a long time to wait till supper....... <sigh> <drool>

And, would you believe??? Today is hubby's birthday. We were planning on taking him to The Outback for his birthday dinner (his favorite restaurant). Ha! His fishing buddy called last night wanting to go fishing today! Now you gotta understand, Its an hour and a half drive to their favorite fishing hole AND they do NOT leave until they've caught their limit of blue gill, perch, croppy, the pan fish we all like best to eat. Which means, in all likelihood they'd get home late enough in the afternoon that by the time he cleaned his share of the catch ..... see what I'm getting at? He is NOT a late night person. So .... The Outback is on hold until Sunday afternoon. *sigh*

Now "I" am starving. Gotta go raid the frige and cupboards to see what looks good.
