I am considering purchasing this mask on an auction. Can anyone give me some feedback on it. Pros and cons if you use it. Compared to the Breeze if possible. I am a side sleeper. Don't like things touching my face, especially if uncomfortable and they make red marks, like with straps. Is the forehead cushion on this comfortable?
Thanks,
Linda

No facial straps. Very similar to Breeze. Pillows are softer but less ridged ... which causes them to leak for some folk. There is the old fishing line fix and the similar twist tie fix too. If it is unstable, RG's pantyhose trick may work. Uhhhmmm ...I guess that's all -- I stil have mine although I use the Breeze almost 100%.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Linda,
I have been using the ComfortLite 2 for about 8 months. I have a small head and face, and like most headgear, the CL2 is a little too big for me. It took me awhile to get used to it (I am a very light sleeper), but once I did, I had good results. I am a side sleeper, and I do have to hang the very edge of my face off the bed pillow to avoid having the CL2 forehead pad bump against the bed pillow. I use a strap (leg from a pair of panty hose tights) around my head to get good stability for the nasal pillow.
The forehead cushion is fairly comfortable. The only problem I have with it is that it is somewhat big on my small head. For additional comfort, I got a Pad-A-Cheek padded cover for the forehead piece. Very comfy (and stylish). Those are available at http://www.padacheek.com. With or without the Pad-A-Cheek I never had any red marks from this headgear.
The elbow joint at the top of the headgear gives lots of people fits because it does not swivel as easily as one might like and can create hose management problems. Here is a link to Rested Gal's CL2 modification (elbow-ectomy). I never got around to doing that and the elbow swivel on mine loosened up some and ceased to be a problem.

One thing I love about the CL2 is the ease of popping off the nasal pillow each morning to give it a quick soapy rinse - no disassembly needed. I find the nasal pillows comfortable and switch back and forth between the small and medium.
Good luck.

Not sure about those twisty tie and pantyhose fixes, you might have to fill me in. I purchased another Breeze today in auction for $30 plus $10 shipping. It has the dreamseal. My other one has pillows. Have you ever tried the dreamseal one? Do you ever get sores in your nose sometimes with the nasal pillows? I have this happen occasionally, like a blister worn raw, it hurts and takes some time to heal. Thus it disrupts my sleep because of the pain. So that is why I bought the other mask with dream seal.
I saw your discussion about auto pap verses cpap. I have a bi pap machine. It automatically increases pressure when I need it. I stay around 9-11 most of the time. Mine does not have a read out. It starts out at six and ramps up. That part I have gotten used to, but I liked the full pressure in my nose right away.
I do have occasional problems with my mouth opening. Usually when I am plugged up from allergies. At those times it is a pain, but would probably happen with any mask.
What I do like is that my insurance won't pay for a new machine very often, now I have a deductable that is high and they say that is part of it. I haven't even been able to get them to pay for my masks once a year. I have BCBS. So as I lose weight it is comforting to know it will automatically adjust to what I need or vise versa.

Is it not overkill by using bi pap for pressure 9 - 11 ?Anonymous wrote: I saw your discussion about auto pap verses cpap. I have a bi pap machine. It automatically increases pressure when I need it. I stay around 9-11 most of the time.
I maybe wrong, I always thought cpap or apap will do the job at this pressure range.
