I asked this in another thread, but I think it deserves its own topic...

What are peoples' experiences with cpapauction.com? I think it's a great idea, and am curious how it's been working for people.

Ooh, I'll do a poll!

Comments welcome too...

I signed on, I may not use it, but like life, it's a option, and I like options. It forms a needed nitch, and I hope it's a success. I delt with Yahoo, before they cut and ran. I would never deal with Ebay period. I have a good stock built up and don't need anything, I like the idea of dealing with people I know on the forum, that's what make it a good idea. Jim

I think it's a good option...I successfully sold a mask on there. I'm buying filters right now.

I haven't used cpapauction.com yet but I visit it often watching to see if there is something I want. So far there was only one item I was interested in. Unfortunately, the Seller wasn't a forum member and they used the coy earthlink spam filter which I refuse to play games with so I passed on the item.

I liked yahooauctions and was sorry to see it go. I'm not as wild about e-Bay and seldom use it and as cpapauction carries items I'm interested in I'm SURE I will be using it!

auction

I've used it to buy two items, I'm very pleased with both. The seller was slow to ship on one item, and unresponsive. CpapAutction did get involved, turned out seller had a hospitalized child and shipped as soon as possible. Second item was from cpap.com and I had their item in 2 days. I do like to see that the seller is a member of this Forum. Regards

I have signed up and have a bid on 1 item. I will only bid on items that have seller feedback for them or items from members of this board. I think that once the site is established a little bit more I woul feel alot safer buying something from them. That's just my feelings though.

Wow! I just got a nasty reply to an obvious question I made to a seller at the auction, Geez, I got labeled as Stupid and Lazy!

I hope you shared your experience w/that Seller w/the staff at cpapauctions! I'm sure they don't want Sellers responding in that manner!

No, not yet, I just got another one from same seller that's also insulting and racist, after I apologized for asking the question. Go Figure!
