Lavender mist, that must be some kitchen sprayer, to get the outside of your house wet.

Do any of you wash/clean your heated hoses? I never have - but just wondered if anyone else does or doesn't?

Directions for the hose cleaner

Post by Guest » Tue Sep 18, 2007 8:48 pm

I saw a hose cleaner just like this one awhile back and the cost was $19.99 & tax, S&H so that is a great idea of making your own and posting the directions for us, THANK YOU "OLD FART", I'm going to have my hubbie make one for me as I am sooooooo afraid of getting fungus in my lungs from a not so dry hose, I wash it everyday, sling it around for hours, lay it out all day to dry and it's still wet when I retire around 11:30 or 12 midnight! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

For what it's worth, I have never washed my hose. I replace it about every 12 months.

SleepyGuy, you can get fungus from not cleaning your hose, i'm sure it is slowly growing, how could it not be ???? I read in a post lastnight where "Snoredog" had posted all the things you can get from not washing your hose, he said it was worse than the flesh eating disease so better think twice, maybe you've been lucky this far, my Mom has a very rare Lung Disease from mold called Aspergillas and there is nothing they can do for it, it's very hard at times for her to breathe. I do hope you will start cleaning it and I bought an extra hose so I could let one dry all day & night while using the other. Take Care & GOODLUCK!
