Thanks Jim!! We have one of those old gas pumps in the garage, and a couple of old corvettes that we take to car shows. We even have a drag strip not far from here. I do wish we still had a drive in movie, but if I tell my husband that he just might try puting one in the back yard!

Well they even fit a Nash Metropolitan in the clip. I had a 57 pink and white two tone convertible. It seemed like a threat to my manhood until I found out girls would ride in hot cars AND the ones they thought were cute.

that looks the the 100-HP flat-head V8.

I helped my father-in-law restore 3 each 47 Fords, he used to race them back in Pennsylvania outside little washington, actually winning a state championship one year. He had the 4-door sedan, the 2-door coupe and the Fonzi car 2-door coupe convertible.

I remember we drove like 400 miles with a pickup and trailer down to San Diego to get that 2 door convertible, it was in a field in weeds over the windshield and rusted out everywhere. We did a full body off restore on all 3, rebuilt the whole drive train new wiring everything. The seat springs were all shot and rusted out, I worked on those seats for weeks replacing all the springs.

He has since passed and all the kids each got one, they still have those cars in their garages on stands, think the battery is dead now.

If it was up to me those babies would be at Barrett Jackson's.
