I called my doctor and told them that there was no way I could go from a set pressure of 8cm to a bilevel pressure of 20cm/16cm. At least not without going completely insane! They agreed and are faxing the order for an autopap.
Yay! Hopefully, I'll get the treatment I need finally.

Janelle, I'm surprised this whole forum isn't funneling to your doctor by now!
I'm glad my pressures are low with my BiPAP because it works fine for me.
I'll leave the explanation as to the difference between BiPAP and auto to some of the more experienced and knowledgeable, as I am entirely too new to the whole issue.
