Greetings rvbcave,

We have just launched CPAPAuction.com, which is a place set up to help you sell your equipment, even CPAP Machines. You may even get a better price then you are asking for here as CPAPAuction is launching today and the promotion is producing a lot of traffic.

It is free to sell and $1 to register (to make sure that sellers are legitimate). Please check it out!

Johnny

and the Cesspool Auction begins

Post by Snoredog » Tue Sep 04, 2007 10:34 am

hope it all works out for you guys but I see this forum quickly turning into a cesspool of ebay complaints and/or a place to peddle your wares instead of a place to help others with cpap issues.

In a sense it already has turned into a place to come rant about bad experiences with ebay, like we had anything to do with that.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

Greetings Snoredog,

I think our visions of what CPAPtalk should be are similar. I want CPAPtalk to be tightly focused on help and encouragement for CPAP users. I disagree with your use of the word cesspool. I know you didn't mean it that way, but man, thats a mean thing to say about a place so many of us are proud of and have benefited from.

The world we live in has not had a central place for people to legally, safely and easily exchange CPAP equipment. I want to change that. I am using CPAPtalk aggressively to get the word out. The success of CPAPAuction today means that all CPAP users who get online and search for CPAP now and in the future are better off. I think its a good swap.

Today is a very important day for all CPAP users. I hope those who want to change our little corner of the world for the better will support my efforts by letting others know about CPAPAuction.

When CPAPAuction catches traction, there will be a call for community input on several issues some regard as "cesspool" related. We will see if marketplace changes merit CPAPtalk to take a stronger position on maintaining our help focus or not.

Johnny

SnoreDOG,

Perhaps you should search my username for the past several years. I have been a poster for some time. This is the only cpap I have ever sold. It has been an acceptable practice in the past to do so as long as someone is not running a business on this forum. This is my PERSONAL machine, not one I am reselling.

My apologies for not doing this the way YOU think it should be done. I am not remotely interested in anything you have to say. That being said. There is no reason for you to continue posting on this thread.
