Swift II question

Post by ejdischer » Sun Sep 02, 2007 3:46 pm

Anyone have the Swift II? I'm wondering because I have a Bravo and the bottom part that connects to the hose is quite bulky. I can't rout it over my head because it pulls the pillows and they leak. Anyway, I was looking into the Swift II and was wondering if anyone can compare the pillow sizes between it and the Bravo. I have pretty large nares and use the large Bravo pillows. Before I go to Apria to get a Swift II, I want to make sure the nasal pillows are at least as large if not larger.

I am a regular Swift 2 user who also tried to use the Bravo. With respect to the pillow sizes, they were essentially the same size. The Bravo pillows were slightly softer, meaning more flexible.

Hi,

I've got both Swifts....

I love them in every respect. The large pillows are very comfortable. Highly recomended!

I use medium pillows in both the Bravo and the Swifts. The way the Bravo sits on my lip is slightly bulkier than the Swifts. I would rate both masks as very useable for me, with slightly different strengths and weaknesses. I did a fix to make the Bravo more stable and for side sleeping it was more stable than the Swift. The Swift wasn't too bad for side sleeping though, since I only sleep on one side. For back sleeping the Swift is great. The Swift felt lighter to me and I think part of that was that the hose is less bulky. Plus, I had better visibility with the Swift for reading in bed.
