Newie update

Post by LonnieMc » Fri Aug 31, 2007 2:59 pm

Well, it has been one week starting on CPAP. I seem to be feeling a little better everyday, providing I get enough sleep at night. It is not because of the machine, but other reasons. Last night was the first night that I woke up and found my mask sitting in my lap. Don't know if I took it off or what.
But put it back on and went back to sleep. I may change my CPAP to alarm when it detects that the mask is off. Doubt it would wake me up, but worth a try.

The alarm is a good thing. You're right, it won't wake you up, but it will wake up your bed partner, and s/he will then wake you up. Worked for me.

I never have understood how I could take that mask off and neatly fold the straps while asleep, but that passed after about a month.
