Always running late because of Morning maintenance?
Here's what I do. I over fill my humidifier at night and crank the dial as high as it will go.
Than in the morning I have enough hot water left for my coffee.
Now I prefer instant coffee so I just spoon the coffee, cream and sugar into the humdifier
and shake. Than I insert a straw and I'm good to go.
These means no cup to wash, I've only got to rinse out humdifier and leave out to air dry.
For you purists out there I'm sure if you add your grounds and let them set while you dress
it should brew enough. Just add some egg shells to "settle" the grounds after.Well good luck.
I'm eyeing that space with the metal plate under my humidifier now.
Looks just big enough for three slices of bacon.Hmmmmmmmm?
P.S. The above should be performed under Adult supervision or by Professional Hoseheads.
Kids never attempt this at home.
Time Saving Tip !
Splash51,
I think I will "humidibrew" my coffee in the morning. Also, remove the mask, turn on the machine and the hose will make a dandy hair dryer. I'm sure it would do a great job of drying fingernail and toenail polish as well. Can't find a bowl for your morning cereal? A full face mask works fine -- just gotta plug the exhalation holes to keep the milk in.

Even with CPAP I am still not a morning person. So I start the brewing process the night before. Since the heating plate does not get all that hot I also lay out the bacon in the evening (A heating setting of 5 results in crispy bacon. I set mine to 3). The water tank acts as a press so that my bacon comes out nice and flat in the morning. Oh, and the Aromatherapy! It is like waking up in the morning when camping to the smell of coffee and bacon on a camp fire. Fried eggs are messy unless they are poached. Be sure to follow the cleaning instructions that came with your CPAP.
Now, who will be the first person to take this topic seriously and put it into practice?

I was having trouble getting to sleep at a reasonable hour. No more! I just pour myself a nice shot of whiskey into the HH, set it to a low setting of 1, and let the fumes drift me off to dreamyland...
And here I was expecting this thread to be about showering with your hose and mask! I did that my first few weeks. Then gave it up. I only wash them about once a week now. When the fried egg starts sticking...
LOL,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

Aw, heck, if you're gonna go that far, why not take it to the logical conclusion: caffeine in your sleep! Brew the coffee before bed, let it cool a little, then put it in the humidifier instead of distilled water. Yeah, caffeine by forced-air may be defeating the purpose a little, but you can't beat it as a time-saver...You'll be wired by the time you get out bed. That first cup can wait until you get to the office. Heck, you'll be so amped that you won't even care what your stats looked like! That'll solve all also take care of all kinds of stress!Splash51 wrote:Always running late because of Morning maintenance?
