So sad to hear these stories. Greed! Greed! Greed!

We live the the greatest country in the world, yet we suffer so much when it comes to health care.

I purchased my machine from cpap.com and did not mess with the insurance company. Now I am really glad I did.

Code

Thanks for the Code akcpapguy.

Hunter is correct. when I started this adventure after 2 sleep studies I did not know anything....I mean nothing about OSA.

Thanks to this forum I know a little something. I had to look up DME at the time....so I was a lamb going to the slaughterhouse.

Of course, I should have said to the original doctor, please give me the prescription and i will take care of it.....but I didn't even know what to do with it at that time.

I have been buying my masks from our host at CPAP.com.....and if anything goes sideways tomorrow....that is the end of the DME's and I can submit my own insurance claims.....

I did find out one thing for CERTAIN.....with ZERO XPAP last night I woke up like the old days...B.C. Before CPAP. I did not realize that I actually was getting some benefit from the treatment although I was waiting for the sleep deficit to finish.

sometimes we go through hell to gain a bit.

Regards

Elliot
