I guess someone is working on something in response to what we're reporting.

update

Post by tomjax » Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:42 am

The only problem I have and I have not seen it discussed, is that I cannot get any postings when I click on- postings since last visit.

I used this all the time and wonder why this is not working for me?

Any plans to restore it or is it something I need to change on my end.?

Question for the day:
Why are there so many pretty babies and so many ugly adults?

Did you try deleting all the cpaptalk.com cookies?

Even then, the phpBB keeps rewriting cookies that don't allow logon for some computers/OS.

There may be a relatively easy workaround, lemme see how long this lasts.

Aromatherapy may help CPAP compliance. Lavender, Mandarin, Chamomile, and Sweet Marjoram aid in relaxation and sleep. Nature's Gift has these and a blend of all four called SleepEase.

I can log in, but it logs me right back out when I try to see posts or get my Private Messages. Very frustrating!

But To Do It Easily and Make It Stick...

Yeah, if you find/make one good set of cpaptalk.com cookies (there are two of them, but I think only the one with the loginID is important) from when you first sign on and are logged on (essential), make them read only, then block (not purge/delete) cpaptalk.com cookies, that works, at least temporarily.

I can log in but the feature that allows me to see posts since my last visit does not work. It always says none.

I haven't been able to log in for about a week. Changing from IE7 to Firefox hasn't made a difference.

Has there ever been a response from the forum administrator?

it seems to take much longer to move from page to page, and when you do arrive at a new page, it loads piece by piece

have also had to log in every time

Site appears to set 7 cookies. Deleted all but UID (sid)....
I'm logged in, posting..... (just went back to double check -- now there are 9 cookies - did the delete again, and did a block on cpaptalk.com) Weird!!!
Let's see what it does.....
I'd really like to post as me.....

It also does take longer to move around the site. Pages load much more slowly and in a jerky fashion (painting). Also, I had the red "N's" yesterday for a short time, but as soon as I refreshed the page they were gone.

Sooner or later I guess it'll be fixed, in the meantime, I guess I'll just have to be happy as "guest".......

Ditto- I try to send pm and it just goes to my 'outbox' and sits there- I get the 'message sent' message, but it's not recorded in my sent box, and is sitting in my outbox- but can't seem ot send it
