REMstart Auto with A-Flex question

Post by ZZZCPAPZZZ » Fri Aug 10, 2007 5:17 am

For the last two nights my APAP has not recorded any of the detailed data. It is still recording compliance and minimum other data. Any ideas? I have the Encore 1.8 software and review it daily to check my progress.

When you click on and open up your download (interaction), are you selecting "Full Details"? It defaults to "Summary".

Well........maybe it's the infamous "two-nights-off" that the M Series machines take after recording for about a week. I hadn't heard anyone complain about this problem for awhile and it kind of slipped my mind when I read your post, but if it records summary (compliance) data for two nights and then starts giving you the full details again, that's probably what the problem is.
That has been a "bug" in the M Series machines since they came out and one of the "stories" was that the 1.8 version was supposed to fix it......but, if you're having that happen, then I guess 1.8 did NOT fix it.

It happened exactly a week after I started using the APAP. My M series Pro never did it. Approximately how often does this bug occur, or do you know? I am very relieved. I thought there might be a serious problem with the machine delivering therapy.

just checxk my data collected since April 28

Out of 100 days, 6 days of data are missing despite my 100% compliance/

The bug is here in all of the exisitng software, I think it has nothing to do with software at all

In ispossibly a bug in the CPAP hardware microcode, not the Encore pro

I always suspected it was a firmware problem.

I think what the other folks have done to get around this glitch, is to erase their card either after every download or to erase it just before the nights it's supposedly going to skip.

Good luck.

Thanks, that was the problem. Machine recorded data properly last night. Is there a fix other than deleting data from the card. I would like to keep it there to show sleep doctor.

MISSING DATA

Post by packer » Sat Aug 11, 2007 6:42 am

I had the missing days thing happen with my old tank-
and have had it happen with new aflex

I did not erase anything- just kept using it and it hasnt messed up in last month or so

I think it just happens from time to time--?? I just wanted to say that in my opinion it probably would work the next night without erasing-- Packer
