Resetting display on Rem Pro

Post by gordogolfer » Fri Aug 10, 2007 4:36 am

Hi Everyone

Can someone tell me what I did wrong. I reset the data by the procedure below
on a Respironics M series Pro

After a night of use it does not display any new information

1. Hold down the two <- _-> arrow keys while plugging in the power.
2. After beep is heard, release, press -> arrow key to move to Therapy screen, hold down (-) minus key for 5 seconds until data reverts back to zero.
3. Press On/Off button to exit.

Thanks for your help

I did the same thing to mine and evidently it takes several days to give stats again because it gives a 7 day and a 30 day average.

It doesn't on mine, I get new stats the very next day after clearing, of course the 30-day will only have 1 night's avg and will be off because there is not 30 days worth of data accumulated, but the 7-day is an avg. of the first night seen, then on the 2nd night the avg. of those 2 nights, then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc.

If data isn't being displayed after clearing, I would go through programming using the (+) key after the power On sequence and check the parameter to make to sure it is enabled.

Should resemble the following:

Respironics M Series Auto with C-flex:

1. Hold down the <- -> buttons while plugging in the power on the back, wait 2 beeps, release buttons.
2. Press the + key. <- -> buttons move to next field, -/+ keys decrement/increment
3. Check the following field(s):

-Therapy Mode=Auto (CPAP/Auto)

-Auto:Max=12 (default=20.0cm)

-Auto:Min=6.0 (default=4.0cm)

-CFlex Setting=2 (options are off, 1, 2 or 3)

-AutoRamp Time=30 (options are 05 to 45 min)

-AutoRamp Pressure=6.0cm (4cm->AutoMin)

-Mask Alert Feature=ON (On/Off)

-Auto Off Feature=Off (On/off)

-Split Night Time = Off (off, 120, 180, 240)

-Show AHI/Leak Feature=ON (On/Off)

Press On/Off button to exit.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

Snoredog,

Sounds like maybe yours is an auto, the pro is straight cpap. Maybe that makes a difference.

The machine is a CPAP not an Auto.
Hope you can still help as it does not seem to record new data.
I'll see to night if there is any new data
Thanks

So all is back to normal
Thanks Again
