Red N on new messages is back, but after I read one message and go "back" all the new messages loose their identification.

Maybe we should go back to the old server.

Losing the new posts on thread flag. After reading one new post and going back to the list it shows that none of the threads have new posts.

Have been unable to log in for a couple days, even with the remember password feature. Deleted cookies on my computer and then was able to log in.

logged as usual - no problem -- I always check the log me in each visit box, so that's just a standard item for me.

Do not see any "N" icons designating new posts on any post, though the "bomb" shows on some.

Now I'm afraid to log out

Thanks Johnny - appreciate all your efforts. Certainly don't envy you!!!! Upgrades usually suck for a time......

It showed me logged in until I hit the send button. Then it posted me as a guest. It shows me logged into this session as well....(I re-logged in with no issues -- checking the box as usual)......

Let's see what happens when I hit send this time

cheers

I am also not seeing any of the red "N"s that show when a post is new. But have had no problems logging on.

Ok -- logged in, cleared cookies -- let's see if that works....
I really feel for Johnny -- upgrades are generally not a lot of fun!!!!

Just as a test I created a computer using Virtual Machine (VPC - Conectix version) and loaded Firefox & used it to access the site but not even doing that enabled me to log in.

Funny thing is that at work yesterday I had no difficulty all day.

Same thing happens to me when I read one topic and then use the browser (Firefox) "back" button. When it happens, the "bomb" is the only flag that stays on topics that had that, but the red N on new messages that I hadn't yet looked at has disappeared.
