Why will my DME not show me a Hybrid mask?

I currently use Breeze Nasal Pillows but am having problems with mouth breathing. I have been interested in looking at the Hybrid because I hate using a chin strap. I have called my DME once and went in the office once and all they will say is "We have yet to find anyone that has a good fit"--End of conversation. I feel these new masks will begin to revolutionize XPAP therapy and I'm wondering if the other manufacturers are pressuring DMEs to "play dumb" about these masks.

I have used the hybrid and had no problems with it fitting. If the mask didn't cause a rash(allergies) I would still be using it every night! There are several members here who use the hybrid and like it. Sounds to me like your DME just doesn't want to make the effort for you.

They probably don't carry the mask because they push another brand. Therefore they don't want you to make them order one. None of the DME's in my area carry it so if I insist that they order me one they tell me it is non returnable.
