(The usual) help interpreting my data!

Hi--

I've finally run EncorePro for the first time. I got ahold of it a while back (thanks to some kindly souls) but I wasn't able to install it right away. I have data from 6/17-8/2, minus a few days when the card got misplaced. EncorePro Analyzer does not seem to work for me.

I'd love some help interpreting the results. I've looked at a couple of other posters' messages on the topic, but it doesn't seem to click unless I'm looking at my own data, if you know what I mean.

Currently, I'm a self-directed patient, if you know what I mean. I hope to reacquire a doctor in October. Till then, I'm on my own. My original machine was set at 10; this one is set at 8-13. I don't have my original sleep report on hand to compare it to, but I'm pretty sure that I remember my apnea events on it were a huge number.

Here's what I have:

Avg 90% Pressure: 9.7
Avg Pressure: 9.0

Avg. Non-Responsive AHI: 0.0

Avg. Obstructive AI: 0.8

Avg Hypnopea Index: 0.7
Average AHI: 1.5

Avg Flow Limitation Index: 0.9

Avg Vibratory Snore Index: 1.6

Avg Max Leak: 117.9
Avg 90% Leak: 47.3
Avg Leak: 38.5
Avg Large Leak: 1.3 mins

Auto-CPAP Mean Pressure: 8.9 cm H2O
Auto-CPAP Peak Average Pressure: 9.8 CM H20
Avg Device Pressure <=90% of Time: 9.6 cm H2O
Avg Time in Apnea Per Day: 25.2 secs
Average Time in Large Leak Per Day: 1.3 mins
Average AHI: 1.5

My specific questions are:
- What's up with the leak stuff? Does that include the times I pull the mask away to blow my nose or check for rainout or something? (This happens a few times as I'm trying to fall asleep.) Are those numbers bad?
- My AHI looks good to me. Is it good?
- Any suggestions as to what I should keep an eye on, etc.?

Your AHI is good ... many would be envious of 1.5

Your leaks look good too ... yep, that is exactly what that max number is. Because your 90% is fairly close to your average, that suggests that your leak rate is steady ... looks like you may be using a full face or nasal cushion mask.

I have a regular old Comfort Gel, but I seem to have argued it into fitting nicely, somehow.
