Turbinate question

Post by Asylum » Wed Aug 01, 2007 8:19 pm

Question for those of you who have had a turbinate reduction. How long was it before you didn't see blood when you blew your nose? I had the surgery back in March and still have a small amount of blood when I blow my nose. I don't have the major amount of mucous or nearly as much blood as before the surgery though. Seems to me the ENT said it could take a year or two for them to heal completely. Seems like a long time. Just wondering if what I"m experiencing is normal or if others have had similar experiences. Kind of makes me nervous. Thanks!

woozle here hi

I remember that for about 2-3 months after the surgery, every once in a while, if I did a nasal rinse or something, a small blood clot would come out - but after that, not at all - may want to ask your doctor otherwise, how do you feel, did it help? I know mine did

I had mine done in June and had some blood for the first couple of weeks but haven't seen any since.
