One thing that's always worked for me is tomato juice.....
Plain old tomato juice poured liberally on the smelly dog seems to eliminate the skunk.....(wear your rubber suit for when they shake it off!!!!)
We have a couple skunk families living on our property and for some reason the dog hasn't learned to leave those little black and white things alone!!!! Her job is to keep foreign critters away and she takes her job very seriously......
