encore pro smartcard capacity??
encore pro smartcard capacity??
How many months of data will one encore pro smartcard hold? When a card becomes full, what does the CPAP machine do: does it refuse to store any more data because its full, or does it simply overwrite the oldest historical data point?
Thanks.
Thanks.

my card
seems to hold 7 sessions no multi a day
if i nap that counts as a session
and 9 month compliance ... it drops off day by day
from there
every new day takes a day off
not sure how others get 3 sessions a day ... i dont

From the Encore Pro definitions in the "Help" menu.ewh wrote:Thanks for the info.
Very interesting. If you simply turn the machine on, leave it on for 5 seconds, and then turn it off, does that count as 1 session?
Once I get my Encore Pro software, I can experiment with exactly what Respironics considers 1 session.
"Session":
A length of time in which therapy has been delivered with breaks lasting no more than one hour.

Just to be on the safe side, I transfer the contents of the card to my PC every two or three days. That way it becomes a permanent record, or at least as permanent as I can reasonably expect of my hard drive and my backup drive.
Encore Pro Analyzer will display results for as many sessions as you have on your PC.

I do pretty much the same as OCO -- I pull the data off about every 5-6 days, turn it into a .pdf file so I have a permanent record.
Since it goes into a SQL DB the data stays there until your HD runs out of space (or the space the DB allocates runs out)....
cheers
