SQL Server Error and MyEncore

I have installed myencore15b7 and Encore Pro 1.6, still using W98, when I try to run the myencore Im getting the following error message:

An error has occured while establishing a connection to the server. When Connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections {provider Named Pipes Provider, error 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server}

I looked thru the install guides and if this was covered I missed it. Can anyone help please?

MyEncore, hasn't beed updated in a long time. V1.6 may not work as it changes the data base. JSkinner's software will work with it. Jim

Try using a different email address when you request the link to download the software.

worked for me.
