CPAP Stats: What does this mean?

Post by Treesap » Thu Jul 12, 2007 1:35 pm

I got this information off my machine. What does it mean?

HI 3.7
AI .2
AHI 3.9
Leak: .22Ls

Am I doing good? If not, tell me what is out of wack and some things I can do to change it. I have my machine, humidifier, and mask all listed.

Thanks for your help!

AI= apnea index=how many apneas you averaged every hour
HI=hypopnea index+how many hypopneas you averaged every hour
AHI=apnea hypopnea index=how many apneas + hypopneas you averaged every hour.
Any AHI under 5 is considered normal
Leaks look just a tad high to me but nothing to stress over

You're doing GOOD. Keep up the good work!

Brenda
